Sooooo is this a planned feature? Just there to be there? Or is it in the game? And if so is it like split screen or local connections?

Seems like this is referring to the fact that you can host servers on LAN.

Please take in your posts here in account, that not every forum-user is using Steam.

I think steam defines local co-op as LAN co-op,
I have these options to choose from for the game:



There is a very clear 'split screen/shared screen' option, which is not checked for factorio

For now i have removed all 'co-op' tags until i can sort it out with steam

It seems the Steam community agrees that Local ≠ LAN. https://www.google.com/search?q=steam+local+coop+lan

I can't find any official reference.

OK thanks. I was curious due to some other steam games having Local Coop as a tag which also meant they were splitscreen in the game itself. I would list examples but I don't wanna post about other games here. Thanks for answering my question! You can lock this thread if you wish or delete it.
