What I search for regarding Multiplayer

My Group and I are currently searching for a new Multiplayer-Game, and factorio, I really like that one.
But we are a little bit different...
We are all a bit older, steady jobs etcetc.
What we are looking for is basically Sandbox with a little bit competitive / PvP play.
So basically a round of Factorio running a long time. Where everybody can join and leave whenever he/she wants.
Factorio already seems to be great in MP compared to other EarlyAccess games (the Netcode seems to be working...)
There are Mods that go in the right direction, but i dont think its all possible:
Teamplay: Basically Teams that start in different Positions that can do alliances with other teams and stuff. Maybe with the Possibility to set May Players per Team, so it can be a bit balanced.
PvP: Yes, sure, it makes the stuff funny. BUT: Some kind of Offline protection would be good - because otherwise, one free day could mean you can ruin everything the others build. What i have in Mind is something like: Team Buildings are protected if the last player from that team has logged out for at least an hour. SO no "im getting attacked, ill lock out immediately now". And theyre only protected for 48 Hours, after that, no more.
Win-Conditions: Why? Isnt showing everyone what great things you build enough? Or basically "destroy everything".
Loose - Conditions: I like the idea of a central rocket silo that, if destroyed, causes the Team to loose. Maybe even something like "everybody starts with ten Lives, but he can get more via a complex production", like a Clone-Chamber or something. And instead of the ROcketsilo have the CLonechamber as Main building or something like that.
But what happens then? There should be a way to restart. Maybe something like "find the largest empty area of the map and place the Team there." or something like that.

This are just Ideas now, feel free to discuss / tell me why thats rubbish etc.
