0.14.8 - Fishing ground after landfill applied

On ColonelWill's stream last night:

Someone (may not have been ColonelWill) applied landfill to fill in a lake, but he was able to catch fish swimming in the ground.

Well then. I didn't search that far back before posting!
I guess my only concern would be how much of a UPS hit there is by keeping track of fish movements when there's no water for them to swim in. It's probably no big deal in a normal game but if there's mention of optimization for 0.15 it is something to consider.
