				Steam Integration?

We all know that setting up our own servers is not the easiest thing to do, so I'm proposing that Steam integrated multiplayer is added. If you want to play multiplayer with your friends all you have to do is click on their name and press "Join Game". This would allow for easier access to multiplayer

The multiplayer server list is supposed to make that a lot easier already.
I think your suggestion might be something that is already in the pipeline though, but these things take time, and considering there's a lot of work been done on the multiplayer code recently, I think they're putting functionality above convenience right now.
I mean, what's the point in having a one click solution if the 2 games can't talk to each other properly?

I think you should read this
viewtopic.php?f=66&t=20819 Mod Portal / Steam Workshop
Factorio devs would be silly to use the Steam Workshop (as the only source), because that binds them to Steam and would disable the ability to use other distribution channels ( see
http://www.factorio.com/blog/post/fff-127 , 1st paragraph )

Doesn't that make my response look silly.
