There is a button to put half of the chest in your inventory. But what kind of number is a 'half'? I don't need half of my whole storage in the inventory, I just need a stack of inseters to keep going. Ok, maybe three stacks.

If there is such a button, I am uber embarrassed. Please, share the knowledge.

I'm not sure I understand what your question is..

You can left click a stack to attach it to your cursor and move it anywhere.
You can right click a stack to attach half of it to your cursor and move it anywhere.
You can shift-left click a stack to move it anywhere automatically.(either from inventory to chest, chest to inventory or inventory to toolbar.)
You can shift-right click a stack to move half of it anywhere automatically.
You can ctrl-left click a stack to move it and all same items anywhere automatically.
You can ctrl-right click a stack to move half the stack and all same items anywhere automatically.

I'm sure one of those answers your question.

I want to click on a chest and get a stack from it without opening a GUI. Just like you can get half of the chest containing.

As far as I'm aware it's not possible to get a single stack from a chest without opening it up first if it has more than one stack inside and/or different items.

One thing you could do is to limit a chest to have a single stack inside only using the limiter, then when you ctrl+click the chest it'll pick up a single stack only because that'd be the only thing inside the chest.
