Well, Bob´s mods are the behemoth of the factorio mods, a huge package of addons that will make the vanilla game way more hard and complex. My mod deal with chemical and industrial processes with coal and to change my products i will need some common ingredients that are the same as bob´s used in his own. So, to avoid recreate the wheel, i can just make the wheel more round. Instead of create oxygen, hydrogen, zinc, lead recipes etc...i can use the already made by Bob´s turning my mod compatible with him. This pack alone wont change much, but will add a lot of things.
Since some mods here also uses the same recipes and names (such as hydrogen or salt, for example), it will make my mod more easy to play with instead of have two different "oxygens" in the same game. Sorry for my english hehhe. You can take a look here on his thread.

A practical example: To make the "Active coal" ingredient as i showed, to be used in the "Carbon Filter". The user will need to put coke, nitrogen and zinc chloride into my "high-pressure furnace". But zinc chloride is made in a vanilla chemical plant with hydrogen chloride and zinc metal. So, Nitrogen, Zinc and Hydrogen chloride is from Bob´s mod. Coke and Zinc Chloride is from my own.

It´s on my to-do list. When i complete the main base of the mod, i will make it compatible with angel mods, specially the petrochem.

Very nice.

I'm lost in all this production chains and sit sometimes half of hours before my monitor to think about how I can set up all this Angel's Bob's and now yours to work seamless together but I love it.

A sneak-peak of the "Dessulfurizator", a building to remove sulfur from acidgas (produced during syngas processing). Unlocked by green science. Still fighting to add proper smoke because there´s nothing good pumping out by that chimneys :)

The spinning things on top look a bit weird. Looks like the building is part chem plant and part casino.
Better forum search for modders: Enclose your search term in quotes, eg. "font_color" or "custom-input" - it prevents the forum search from splitting on hypens and underscores, resulting in much more accurate results.

i\m playing with angel mods, but i have really big amount of sulfur when cleaning waste water? any ideas where to use so many sulfur? i can use it for sulfuric acid, but I still have quite a lot sulfur

Sulfur is something that always get pile up. To make coal more valuable we also need to remove sulfur from it. I may find other uses for sulfur in my mod, but basically you will need more the sulfuric acid.

What about a turret that sprays sulphuric acid (sort of like a flamethrower turret but squirts acid instead of flames)?

That´s a good idea, but have nothing to do with my mod. The goal here is process coal, weapons and defense may be for a future mod. :)

I barely code something, im more a graphic guy, all i learned was digging out other codes, asking for help and such. Im pretty new to that so i dunno if i can do a config option anytime soon. If someone wanna help me in that coding part, im thankful. But for now, im working to bring all the features i promised in the previous pages for tier 2.

I updated the chart with the progress until now.

The black icons and buildings are being made, All others are already done.

The news here is the carbon filter, which uses active coal to filter the syngas removing any solid and heavy gas contaminant, returning a more clean and syngas to be burn with less emissions. Should i make it able to recycle dirt and contaminated water into clean water too or a special building just to it ?

It would be nicer to have one filter building that can handle different recipes, rather than having loads of separate filter buildings that only do one thing.

I see we can use nitrogen, yyyyeeeessssss now i can use this big amounts of these gas, and produce many oxygen for another goals :)
But i see that we can also produce hydrogen, where to use so many hydrogen :(

Ahh some ingredients can be only made in an atmosfere without oxygen, thats why im creating that sealed furnace and nitrogen is a great non reactive gas for that.
Hahahah dont worry, there´s a big sinkhole of hydrogen with the planned recipes in the blue science tier. ^^

I want to say that I suffer from excess hydrogen production - when ii want to get chlorine from water of when i want to get oxygen from same water - I am forced to vent hydrogen
