some games give buyers of the game discount codes they can then gift to friends to give their friends incentive to get the game as well.

I think this would be worth considering for Factorio now that 0.14 will likely make multiplayer even better?

Also I hope there will be seasonal discounts for Factorio as well. Honestly with a decent discount I would probably buy multiple keys myself and gift them to some of the guys and gals on my list. 20 eur apiece is a bit too much for this though in my opinion.

Im pretty sure the producers has very little influence on discounts (and perhaps even price in general) once they signed an agreement with steam...

We don't do discounts. As in, there will be no discounts. The list price is the price of the game and you can be confident in that.

It can be thought of as a positive thing too: If you buy the game for the price it is sold for, there will be no dumb moment when you realize if you waited a day longer it would have been cheaper.

Also... it is worth it. I might still buy an extra copy or too with the price as it is now that I know I wont have a moment like described above

Yes 20 Euro is more than fair for how much hours you can play it.
