multiplayer trading versus

here is my idea for a multiplayer versus game
players are evenly spread around the map
each player is given a MxN lot of the map
every lot has the same amount of resources
only YOU can build in your lot, and buildings built outside of it take damage over time
at start, there is a single rail looping close (but not inside) to the borders of every lots, with a stop somewhere in the end of the region
players can trade with others for resources, via a new trading mechanism, using the train
players can place inserters close to the stop so they empty the train
create a new structure that needs to be built in order to win
structure requires items made out of 7 different new resources
each player only gets to mine 5 of these resources, thus encouraging trade
if peaceful trade doesn't work, you can always raid your opponent base and grab it by force
