Rail signals icons mixed up

in the toolbox the rail chain signal shows three lights - actually is has only one alternating state when placed.
Otherwise the rain signal shows two lamps in the toolbox - actually it produces three light states when placed

Thanks for the report,
Yes the icons aren't 100% true representations, but they serve more as a easy visual of the entity
Anyway, no doubt the icons will be updated eventually, but this isn't a bug for now

True enough. Its not a bug but a minor design fault.
Simple to fix.
Anyhow - this scratch may mislead newcomers e.g. let them stumble.
And newcomers are the pool where the word of mouth / PR for Factorio (most probably) is and where other potential buyers e.g. their wallets are - hopefully....
