When joining a headless server by clicking "join game" in the Steam friends list, I get stuck at the "this version is not getting updated" dialog. The Ok button is unclickable and the only way to use the main menu seems to be restarting the game without joining the server directly.

I apologize for no reporting for the current release, our headless server has not been updated yet and I couldnt find the bug in the changelog / bug report forum.

Uh, headless server won't appear in your Steam Friends list. What exactly are you doing? And how can we reproduce it?

A friend was playing on a headless server, and albeit the game wasn't hosted on his machine I was able to click "join game" in the friends list. I would have expected to be connected to the headless server but instead I got stuck at the notification as described in the original post.

I can not say if this only happens with headless servers, or if it's even caused by the notification dialog. All I can say is no connection occurs after loading the game and the menu is locked. The game is not paused for synching /data transfer for the players on the server.

To reproduce, have a player play on a server and try to connect to that game by clicking "join game" on his friends list entry.

Does this issue still occur in latest 0.13 or 0.14?

The 0.14 seems to work well (better than 0.13), so you should try that.

All right, just tested with 0.14.4 and got the same problem. After loading factorio, I get stuck here:

Clicking "Ok" button does nothing and the main menu is unclickable.
