Hi,

ich hab ein kleines Problem und zwar wenn ich mods auf dem Server installiert hab die auch Ordnungsgemäß geladen werden lässt er mich nicht auf den Server Connecten.

Stattdessen schreibt er immer das die Versionen passen aber nicht die Inhalte und das egal bei welchen Mods.

Was ich bis jetzt Probiert habe mods in den DATA odner dann in den Mods ordner NICHTS.

Dann hab ich gemerkt das sich bei hochladen komischweise die datei Größen ändern. Also schreibgeschützt gemacht und per FTP die schreibrechte entfernt. Nichts

Alle Mods hochgeladen Server gestartet auch alle Sauber geladen ohne Fehler. Dann Server Runtergefahren alle Mods Runtergeladen und dann wieder Probiert. Nichts

gefühlte 1000x mal den Server neu installiert half auch nichts.

Ich bin mit meim Latein am ende vlt. kann mir hier jemand helfen wieso das nicht geht. Im SP funktionieren alle ohne Fehler.

I have a small problem with the Mods on Server. He Install and loaded well but.

Instead, he always writes the version is the same but the content is different.

What I till present tried mods in the DATA odner then in the Mods folder NOTHING same Problem.

Then I have noticed itself with high-level store change funny-wise the file Dimensions. So write protected made and by FTP the writing-right remotely. Nothing

All Mods highly loaded server begun also everybody Well loaded without mistake. Then server Shutdown and all Mods Downloaded and then again tried. Nothing

felt 1000x times the server a new installed nothing also helped.

I have no Ideas. Maybe somebody can help me here why this does not go. In the SP everybody works without mistake.

Lädst du die Mods im entpackten Zustand hoch? Dann kann es sein dass er beim Hochladen via FTP die Dateien im ASCII mode und nicht im binary mode überträgt. Dabei wird die Datei geringfügig verändert und von Factorio als unterschiedlich angesehen.
Sieh nach ob du das in deinem FTP-Programm ändern kannst, wähle dann binary mode (Binärmodus).

Du kannst die Mods auch als .zip in das Modverzeichnis hochladen, Factorio kann sie auch laden ohne dass sie entpackt sein müssen. ZIP-Dateien werden von allen FTP-Clients automatisch im binary mode hochgeladen.

If you are uploading the mods while they are extracted then your FTP client might upload them in ASCII mode instead of binary mode. This can cause the files to change slightly and Factorio might view them as different.
Look for an option like that in your FTP client, set it to binary mode.

You can also upload the mods as .zip files, Factorio can load them without extracting them. ZIP-files are automatically uploaded in binary mode by all FTP clients.

erstmal Danke für die rasche Antwort. Ja hab die im Entpackten zustand hochgeladen weil der server im Verpackten zustand gemeckert hat er könne sie nicht öffnen.

Peinlich es hat wirklich an der Übertragungsart gelegen Binary eingestellt und es ging sogar im Verpackten Zustand. Wäre ich allein niemals draufgekommen obwohl es logisch ist.

first to thanks for the quick answer. Yes i have the package unpacked because the server has got angry in the packed state he cannot open.

Embarrassingly it has really put in the transference kind conveniently Binary and it went even in the packed state. If I had never got on alone although it is logical.

I agree with the zip file suggestion.

This problem can especially happen between mac/linux/windows. On some computers (Linux, Mac), lines end with a Line Feed (0x0A). On others (Windows), lines end with a Carriage Return followed by Line Feed (0x0D 0x0A).

They mostly mean the same thing, and sometimes FTP servers "fix" the files so neither operating system get confused. It's a problem for Factorio though, because it means the flies could technically be different even if they have the same text.
