The forum literally is flooded with spam posts right now.

I could be wrong but I'm pretty sure buying forged passports, drivers liscenses and id cards from shady people on the internet is also illegal

Its just a typical bot uprising. Once one of the moderators comes on they'll deal with it. I've reported a couple of them so that the moderators get a notice when they login saying that there are posts waiting to be addressed.

(My favorite end-of-the-world was Dec 21, 2012, because that was the night I *finally* got to see Wintersun in concert. Seemed appropriate somehow)

Since compasses are still working I think that the current magnetic pole shift is still going to take thousands of years like the geophysicists predicted.
Still better way for the world to end than when Nibiru hit the Earth and I did not notice it.

The most serious spam I have seen on this forum was a Chinese spambot selling (fake) certificates for other countries. Before it was executed, it successfully created 3 pages of posts.

Maybe we should be happy because we are popular enough for the advertisers to sell things here.

And I think that we should also start thinking about how to prevent the spambots... like new users can only make post 5 minutes after registered? I have seen this on different game forums. No sure its efficiency though.

This kind of spambot would immediately end, if the forum authentication would go over the factorio-website (for first login only).
