I have version 0.13.11

I started the game recently and I cant research a single technology

Whenever I add the red science pack into the lab it loads like its going to finish the research but then when it finishes it looks like nothing happens and it eats the science potion.

Tried restarting, re-installing and new games and nothing works

The lab is powered properly. am I doing something wrong? or is this a bug?

Can you provide us a game save of your base at that moment ?
Are you sure there has been absolutely no research at all ? the first research needs 10 red science packs. 10 fully consumed science packs in fact.

(or 11 sometimes with last one barely consumed)

So maybe I'm not getting this right or the game doesn't explain this well enough...

Example: it states that to get Optics you need to use x1 red science pack. Where does it say anywhere that it is 10? I will try this later tonight to see if that was the issue. Thank you!

It shows: 1 x 10 red science packs.

Nevermind. I'm an idiot. Didnt realize that the x10 clock symbol meant that I needed 10. I thought that was the speed of it.
