I love trains, so i usually use only trains in my factory, it works well. But at a point, there is an issue with Trains. For example if want to deliver Steel, Battery, Chips and Inserter in a single Wagon, it dont work. You will reach a point, there the Wagon dont have more Space because it is full of Steel for example. So i wish me a Slot reservation like the toolbar-interface for Wagons. Also i wish me different colored Wagons . It would be really nice to be able to choose different models for a Waggon.

Here an example how a *smart* Wagon could be:

Slot 1-3 reserved for Steel
Slot 4-6 reserved for batteries
Slot 7-9 reserved for Chips
Slot 10-12 reserved for Inserters
Slot 13-15 not reserved, open for all

That sounds useful. It feels a bit too fixed-function though.
I believe there might be a way more versatile solution. (No idea)

I wonder if this could be done by the loading logistic system?
you can disable chest slots and use them as a measuring jug
then, when the train arrives, disable the input inserters, load the wagon, enable input again?

The devs promised (as I understand it) to add the content of wagons/train at stations to the circuit network.
