[0.13.8] Game won't load save

Game crashes (but does not exit or appear as not responding in Activity Manager) during load. Save is originally from the 0.12 days. Worked fine under 0.13.0, and re-saved under 0.13.0. Did not try to play under any other 0.13.x patches.
