Another simple request: When a pole is placed beside a steam engine, although the pole receives electricity, there is graphically no connection. Please add a wire here!

The pole covers an area. Everything in that area is connected. The are of that pole has a graphical representation.

I don't think this is a good idea.

An electric pole doesn't have a wire connecting it to an accumulator. Electric poles also don't have wires connecting them to things that need power like assemblers or inserters. I think drawing wires between power poles and steam engines would introduce visual clutter without any benefit to gameplay. I'm open to being convinced if you have a good counterargument.

Powered Entites

This mod does something similar, albiet with stuff connected to other stuff, without the poles.
