How do I operate them?
How do I order them to destroy the forest?

Put them in a roboport and use deconstruct planner to remove forests.

Where is the deconstruct planner?
How do I activate that mode?

You need:
- deconstruction planner and a blueprint. Both must be researched and crafted first!
- one or more roboports
- some construction robots.
- Also a storage-chest is very recommended!

Deconstruction (the red thing):
- Take care, that you are within the big area (the green one) of the roboport. You can see it, if you hover the port or
- the storage chest. The chest must be also placed within this area, to be used.
- Take the deconstruction planner, press LMB and mark the area of the items (and trees/forests) you want to deconstruct.
- Wait and see, how the cbots take the items and put it into the storage chest
- the bots will place the items also in requester chests, if the item is ordered. Or the personal requester chest.

Blueprint (it's blue):
- same procedure as above, but marking the area will store the current layout into the blueprint.
- Now you can take that blueprint and place it within the area of a roboport. It places ghost-buildings (like when you press shift while placing).
- If the needed items are available in storage or provider chests, the bots take them and place it for you.

I recommend watching the video.

It is the icon with a red box that you get from blueprints. You only need to craft one (unless you tend to lose them like I do). To use it, you select it and then drag a box around the things you want to deconstruct.
