Unable to get the achievement. I've gotten run over by a train multiple times and it doesn't trigger the achievement to pop. There's also no description for the achievement.

I've an idea on what the issue is. In 0.13.0 I got run over by the train but the achievement was bugged in that version so it didn't work. Now being in 0.13.1 and later it doesn't work as it thinks I've already done it, is my guess.

I do not. Neither on steam or in-game.

I was run over by a train in 0.13.2 on a save straight from 0.12.x and didn't get it either. I think it's still bugged.

I would agree there is something up with the "Watch your step" achievement. I have it in game but not on steam. I have NO railroad network in my game nor have i ever been killed by a train. First and only playthrough on 13.

It was bugged in previous versions, it was marked as obtained without actually obtaining it. Exit the game, delete achievements.dat and start it over. If you have steam, the steam achievements will activate, and this one will be obtainable.

Except it still is not rewarded after getting run over by a train. Are there some special conditions we need to know about?

Updated to 0.13.6 and managed to get hit by a train because I wasn't looking where I was standing (I'd only built it a few minutes before). Checked Steam and Factorio achievements list and can confirm I also didn't get the achievement.

Also not obtaining the achievement.

Just for reference, originally found out by someone else.

in achievements.lua:
"minimum_damage = 0"

changing to 1 makes it "work" (but maybe still not as intended )

How is achievements.dat supposed to work? Even when i deleted it (i took 7-zip backup first) i could see all the same gotten achievements when ingame. Still couldn't get "Watch your step" achievement though neither ingame or steam.

Using 0.13.7.

Same here with 0.13.8

Should be fixed for 0.13.9.

Is the Solaris achievement also going to be fixed at the same time I hope??

That one should be working now in 0.13.8.

That's not it, the achievement was bugged. 0.13.9 fixed this if i remember right.
