[Request] Armor repair

We can start with an ability to "repair" you character when the armor is equipped, then make it repairable by construction bots.
Is it possible to make repair packs also replenish the "durability" of an item?

I have had a bit of a think about how to approach this sort of mod. We can access the player armor and its health value, and can remove/consume items to repair it. But would we want to consume regular repair packs? or should there be a special "armor repair kit" that gets depleted as your armor takes damage?
It is something I want to do. The thought that "Armor X becomes useless because you cant repair it" just feels odd. That being said, its not like Factorio armor gets worn through as fast (maybe change that as well?)
EDIT: Thinking about it, hows this?
Two mods, first one is "Neverlasting Armor" and second is "Armor Repairing"
"Neverlasting Armor" is basically a tweak mod designed to make "Armor Repairing" more useful. It goes over all armor in the game and reduces its duarbility by a percentage (maybe seperate config for "solid" armors compared to "modulars"). Not required to have, but just raises the use. Because lets be honest, the default durabilities are fairly high.
"Armor Repairing" works by checking if your armor reaches half-duarbility. At that point, it consumes an Armor Repair Kit to fully repair your armor over a few seconds (slowing the player), or alerts the player if they have no kits. There would be two repair kits, one for solid armors, and one for modular armors, because the materials to repair the two might be vastly different (also, repair kits would be more costly if "Neverlasting Armor" is not installed, because you would be repairing more at once).
