Unable to download .13 on Steam

I have switched to the experimental version and restarted steam, but an update doesn't queue up. I also don't have the option to choose .13 from the Beta dropdown menu. The game still shows version .12.xx when I start it up

What can I do to get the download going?

Switched to the experimantal without version number? If no, then do it. If yes IDK it should download the 0.13

Experimental and 0.13.0 are the same installation right now, try restarting steam.

I've restarted about a dozen times since yesterday (and reinstalled once) but the download never queues up like it should.
Edit: Got the download to start by verifying integrity of game cache.
