low Framerate

Hello,

without producing any kind of item my framerate is 60.
Now I produce 11.000 red circuits per Minute and my framerate sinks to 27 FPS and scrolling is not as smooth and fast as before.
When I cut the power supply from my factory my framerate rises again to 60.
Is that normal ?

My system:
Win 10
Intel Core i5-4670K @ 4GHz
8 GB RAM
GeForce GTX 760
SSD

Can you share your save for testing?

Thanks :)

Did you just casually say 11000 red circuits per minute like that's normal or something?? :D

It's not necessary to share my savegame. ;)

Just watch the video.
It starts with 60 FPS and goes down to 27-30 FPS.
I hope you can see the FPS-Counter in the left corner.

So, you think there are to much items to calculate for my CPU ?

One problem might be those big warehouses, they're supposedly very inefficient.

If you upload a screenshot with time_used_percent activated in the debug menu (F4 > F5) while the fps are low we will know what it is, but with that many overground belts and warehouses it is completely normal.

There's too much to calculate in general for any CPU with that amount of belts, factory, and everything going on. So yes, that's normal. You've built well into the "too much for the computer to handle" range of the game :)

There should be an achievement for overloading the CPU with such crazy factories.

That's all relative though :) A potato computer can be overloaded where a good computer can handle 4 factories of that size.

So, my computer is a potato ? :(

Do not listen to him.
You're doing fine, 4670-K !

No, I wasn't talking about your save file or your computer - just save files in general :)
