Decider Combinator Help

So, I am trying to make a sort of switch to turn on my steam power when my base power is low. I have it all set up, except I can't get the decider combinator that signals the pumps to do what I want. Screens:

As you can see in the first screenshot, I have an arithmetic combinator set to divide two signals and output a different signal as a result; in this case, it is outputting 128 on red.

In the second screenshot, I show my decider combinator configured in a way that seems as though it will only output the yellow signal if the red signal is less than 126. The only issue is that it...doesn't. It's outputting the yellow signal at all times, even if the red signal drops below 100. Is there something I'm doing wrong?

Note: all of this is done using only red wires, and I have checked to make sure that the cables are not connected to the wrong nodes.

The cables ARE connected to the wrong nodes. :P The input is the end with the giant knobs.

Well shoot...now it works. My excuse is that this was at ~2am and I should have just gone to bed.
