Is there a way to set a point on the map as "home"?
After wandering in the wilderness (actually looking for forests, which I have never found - only dead trees) and fighting innumerable dangerous rocks I'd just like to click on "go home" for a speedy return to a set point.

No, there isnt (and will probably never be).

If you want to travel faster, either use exoskeletons in a power-armor, or go by car or train. Obviously, the train would need a rail at first, but as of now, a single loco is the fastest way to travel.

I'm a menace in a car (can't seem to get a hang of the controls and spend most of my time get the bots to repair it!- haven't tried exo skeletons yet - will do..and thanks for the reply.

Actually one cool idea that wouldn't involve teleporting to "home" would be if you - for instance - held the "home" key down your character would run or drive (depending on your current state) directly toward a spot you designated, pathing around lakes and structures, and maybe even trees
