Before you answer, yes, everything is properly wired together. My friend and I are playing together, and share a power source. Our bases our relatively far apart (about 300 blocks apart.) Whenever I go to his base, MY solar panels stop functioning and we get blackouts. We have come to a conclusion that the chunks would unload. Is this correct? If so, how do I fix it?

Could you post a screenshot with the issue?

Could it be that it is getting dark?
What is your solar/accumulator ratio?

During the night solar panels stop producing electricity and can even vanish from the grid status screen.

Check the 5min report to see if it's still there. If it's really weird like the power suddenly STOPS be sure to post it.

I don't know why, but after restarting the server a few times it fixed itself... I have no idea how the problem was caused or how it was fixed, but problem resolved.

The (server-)log and Modlist might help to find the bug in this case.
