Refresh electricity demand

Hello,

I discovered a bug that if we remove a radar the electritity demand is updating but not before.

I was on a game with a friends on LAN, we alimented all our base with small electric pole. We added 3 radars at the mid of the game and now we wanted to move them. Once we removed them the electricity demand has been updated. We had to change the small electricity pole to the big ones.

It's not a huge problem but for question of realism I wanted to report this problem. ^^

You do an amazing work

Please post the steps to reproduce it and describe what you would expect to happen and what happens instead. Be as specific as possible.

Step 1 : We aliment all our production with just the little electricity pole (~1MV)
Step 2 : We put some radars
(time pass, now we are at ~8MW)
Step 3 : We removed the radars to moved them at another place.
- Expection : The electriticy demand is ok
- What happen : The electricity demand was not enough so we had to change the little electricity poles to the big ones.

I hope I am clear and this can help to fix the problem.

I think there is a misconception or I still don't understand, the different power poles differ only in regard to the distance they can connect to one another and the size of the area they provide power to. If some building does not have enough power while being connected, you can only change that by producing more power not by changing the poles.

Yes that's what I thought. But we had a lot of production and 90% of them doesn't product something because there wasn't enough demand in the meanwhile a lot of building hasn't enough power. We changed the poles and everything went back normal. So we guessed that it was beacuase the small pole have a limit of energnergy power that it can carry but apprently not. We had some mod but nothing related to the production of the energy.

Did those objects have not enough power (no visible warning) or no power at all (flashing yellow icon)?
If the latter, you might just have removed one power pole by accident and therefore removed the power connection. Placing big poles could have resolved that due to their longer range.

Currently, there is no way to limit the max transmission-rate of poles (not even with mods), so it should be basically impossible to reproduce or fix your described problem by changing poles.

Some common cases for short power hickups / outages:
- Laser turrets shooting at biters
- Temporarily no coal supply to boilers
- Accumulators run out of power during the night

No there were no warning about the fact that there were no energy.
I checked all of those case and it wasn't my case. I didn't have laser turret, There were coal in boilers and the energy avaible was at 100% but the effective production was barely at 20%. We used accumulator and it was like there were not enough power to recharge them. And there were only few building that worked normally, and the network seemed to be connected all around the base.

Until someone can get a save file that reproduces the problem i'm thinking this is just a misunderstanding and there's no bug (since no one else seems to have this issue).
