If I report a bug, do I get a train station / locomotive / refinery / radar station / named after me :p ?
Please say yes!

I'll be happy with just a train station named after me if not the entire set
Making a special appearance in Factorio...
THE FLASH.
The Bug: Walking through walls.
I searched online, didn't find any mention of this.
How: If you have enough exo skeletons in your armor + have paths laid down.
Or
The faster you move, you begin to vibrate your molecules at an atomic level, allowing you to pass through solid objects.
The attached video shows
1. my armor & the exo skeletons + walk speed boost of stone paths.
2. going through a wall that has stone paths
3. Unable to go back as no stone path exists.
4. Going through gates. Oops.
5 and 6. Going through walls by placing stone paths.

I tested offline with concrete paths + double wall layers and you can go through those as well.
Further testing showed that I was able to go through 5 layers with 33 exo skeletons + concrete paths.

Awesome! And to think... I've been running around with only six exoskeletons. If I had known I could walk through walls with seven...
In general, the game seems to act a little weird when using multiple exo skeletons. For example, using only six exoskeletons, I cannot lay a consistent and continuous line of either transport belt, stone tiles, concrete or walls. I *think* I'm holding down the key to place the object and then using the WASD keys to move. But there are gaps as I'm running that I have to go back and fill in again.

I think the named backers is exclusive to those people who paid the tier 3 money (4 times the game's base price IIRC) when the game was still on... whatever that site was.

I use my regular gaming nick on the forums, but I logged into the account I used to buy the game, in the hopes of having my nick in the game

I was hoping that bug reports would work in getting a mention in the game.
Would be a nice addition to bug reports.

Sorry for the late reply. Haven't gotten a chance to play since Sunday.
I've sent you the list of my mods, via PM.
I don't think power armor made a difference, as I was using the regular mk2 armor.
Perhaps Time Tools? I play at 1/2 speed generally.
I haven't edited the base files on my own.
I see the gif and that seems fine.
Edit - Just to mention, when I'm running I can keep up with a locomotive at about 180-200kmh.
Not sure if it's relevant, as I was able to go through single wall with a runup of just a few cells... while it took me a slight runup to go through multiple layers of walls.

Its easiest if you upload the contents of the mod file here (as a zip) so i know i have the exact correct configuration,
And a save game where you have it all set up would help
If you'd like you can try disabling one mod at a time to see which is causing the issue

This does happen to me also. I am using a lot of mods so I just ignored it. Besides using bobsmods and 12 legs I tend to overshoot the gates so being able to jump over walls is ok

.
I am using squeak through mod so maybe that has something to do with it. If I get a chance I will try removing some of my mods to try and narrow it down.

I read about squeak through, but I'm not using that.
I've tested it and not sure why, but big bags causes this to happen.

Did you increase the 'my_running_speed_factor' in the big bags mod config?

I can reproduce the behavior when I add in mods or crank the walking speed up to fun levels but I don't think it's worth "fixing".

Also happens with high latency (about 200ms) and 6 power legs on 0.13.4 or 7 power legs with full batteries to provide power for all the legs to turn on.

Walls can be passed with a walking speed bonus somewhere between 546% and 564%.
Considering quality armor with quality exoskeletons, this might happen now in a vanilla 2.0 game, depending on what bonuses exoskeletons get from quality, with a large enough equipment grid from a quality armor.
