thanks for your great work! I just noticed that Solar panels, which are not yet built by bots, do seem to output power. I dont know if that is only a graphical error or if they actually do, but here is a screenshot.

However, this is not a bug.
Solar panels that are not yet built don't output power. The right side info window only shows how much energy they would produce, at the current time of day. This info is always shown, even before putting them down or after they have been placed but are not connected to a power grid.

The same is also true for all other entities that produce or consume power. I guess it's just more noticeable with solar panels because the amount they output is constantly changing during dawn/dusk.
