[0.12.31] Splitter/inserter interaction issue still present.

In 0.12.31 an issue regarding splitter/inserter interaction was fixed.

Inconsistent interaction still remains for inserters that are dropping onto a splitter from behind the splitter (regardless of splitter orientation). They still drop on the output side, leaving the items unavailable to the other side of the splitter. Here is a test of all orientations on 0.12.31, showing that most of the issues have been resolved except for the case of the inserter being behind the splitter:

For reference, here is the same test on 0.12.29 (and presumably 0.12.30 although I did not verify):

I've filed this as a new bug report since the previous one was marked as fixed (and it mostly was).

I wonder if this is actually a bug though? The splitter is in the middle of the belt and the inserters drop to the far side of the belt, the other side of the splitter. It might be working as intended. But I agree if the change was made so an inserter dropping on a splitter is always dropping "before" the splitter, it'd be nice and maybe more intuitive.

I'd buy that. Unlike the corrected previous issue, this is at least consistent for all splitter orientations. So it could just as well be dubbed a "feature" and we can stick it on the wiki and call it a day.

Yes, not a bug, this is how it should behave.
