Assembly machine wont't create inserters

I need help, I couldn't find an answer anywhere. I am trying to create inserters in a assembly machine so I can make science pack 2 (the green ones) but it wont create it, I have all of the resources required to make an inserter going into the assembly machine but it doesn't want to work. I think it may have something to do with the "total raw" thingy at the bottom but I'm not sure how to fix that or even what that means. please help.

It has something to do with the "Made in:" at the bottom: inserters require three ingredients, an assembling machine 1 can only use up to two. You need at least an assembling machine 2 to make inserters.
