Hi, can you disable RivaTuner Statistics Server and try it again? Nobody has reported any crashes caused by it on OpenGL renderer, but I just want to rule it out.

As to solve the problem - try to set launch options in Factorio properties in Steam to

Code: Select all

--force-d3d
but make sure you have recent version of RivaTuner Statistics Server (6.4.0 or higher), or configure it so it ignores Factorio.
If that doesn't help, remove the --force-d3d launch option, navigate to %APPDATA%\Factorio\config and delete config.ini, to restart graphics settings to default values.

Alright, I turned Riva Tuna *Tuner (No fish)and MSI Afterburner completely off...didn't solve the issue entirely, even though I believe it occured less often.

However, the startup parameter you provided seems to solve the issue.
