I just discovered a bug where robots are constantly hovering above my character and looking like they're trying to grab something from one of my trash slots but there is nothing in my trash slots. They chase me all over the map (HELP!). I've attached a save game file.

I'm on Mac OS X 10.8.5 but I don't think that's related. I'm running with "experimental" set on Steam so I presume this is 0.12.30.

Do you have a personal roboport and no energysource? Then the robots try to load energy, but cant.

Downloaded the save and can confirm. Not sure how to reproduce. Ubuntu 16.04 - 12.30

I had one earlier. I initially thought that was the cause so I removed the personal roboport from the armor and unequipped the armor but that didn't seem to change anything. That may be involved in reproducing it.

Well I thought you'd be happy not to have bots flying to you constantly any more. Just disregard the save I provided you if you prefer. I don't care.

Sorry, I came off a bit harsh, I was trying to report a bug, not figure out how to make things working again. Also I managed to figure out a solution myself. Apparently if you de-power the robostation such that you go out of range of the robot network then the bug goes away.

The only other time I've seen bots hanging around (however not moving) is when there is no storage chest, or requester chest that accepts the item they are carrying. But that's normal behavior. Perhaps what you have is different.

Did you have any mods previously that have since been removed?

Do you remember when initially the robots started doing that what you where doing? Maybe if you can remember what happened at the time it started it could lead to the cause of this.

No mods.

It's been a while now so I somewhat don't remember. I was placing train rails and I had also had been using a personal roboport and had removed the armor that contained it (swapped to a different power armor with no roboport). There was a definite delay before this started occurring though. Possibly related to the robots trying to refill my rails via my personal inventory requests and that somehow acted strangely with my power armor roboport? I'm honestly not sure.

When I tried to load the save in the debug mode, it told me that the internal state of the counts available for logistics system of the character are broken for wood.
There are few theoretical ways it can get broken and these should be fixed for 0.13.
