Calm down, its an alpha and all you mentioned is on the roadmap.

Well, does someone have the handy text at hand describing and explaining what exactly "ALPHA" means, and that this is, by FAR, VERY FAR, not even close to showing off the final product. Heck, they can even turn the game into something completely different before hitting "BETA".

So, now calm down, take your meds, call your Doc and relax.

This game sucks....... at being a First person shooter!

I can't really say much on what's left of the original post, but...
Installing mods isn't that hard, you just drag and drop downloaded files. I've seen much harder methods to install mods. I've seen easier methods too, but still.

And multiplayer is still very much WIP, considering 2 versions ago we didn't even have multiplayer, it's come a long way in a short time.

Just keep in mind. Alpha. we're not even in beta yet.

Alpha basically means you're at the state where you're still building the game, most of the planned features aren't even made yet, but you have something to show for your work.

Beta would basically mean that you have most of the features you plan to include already done, and are working on graphics, effects, stability and compatibility mostly, you know, fine tuning, making it look better.

Then after beta is release.

This is, literally, the easiest game I've ever applied mods to or made mods for.

Press Win+R (run dialog) and enter %appdata%\Factorio
This will open the Factorio folder.



And before you say it doesn't work, post a screenshot of what happens when you click OK.

Make sure you are using the latest version of Factorio (0.12.29/30), Are you using the steam or the website version?

And please post a log file, found in %appdata%\Factorio\factorio-current.log

This means we need you to upload the file, not take a screenshot of the folder containing the file.
