[0.12.29] [Ondra] Strange regrouping when shift-click ammo to turret

Okay, so I've been using shift and ctrl click for a while on resources.
I'm aware that when I take a stack and place it into something using shift it places the whole stack from my cursor.
this is working correctly for the most part.
However I realised that, at least for ammo, when shft-click placing it into a turret, the result is the game stacks all the remaining ammo in your inventory and all your quick-access slots onto your cursor. (I didn't check to see what happens when there is more then a couple stacks worth of ammo divided amongst a bunch of slots, I'm interested to know so I might play around with it..)
It doesn't stack the ammo I have equipped (though I didn't try multiple stacks in that area) but it does stack everything to my cursor regardless of whether I source from my inventory or my equipped ammo.
In any case here are example screen shots to show a couple scenarios.
This view shows the inventory closed, I have two ammo stacks in my quick slots, and one in my inventory, and I am about to click to place the ammo from my equipped items
This view shows the inventory closed, all my ammo stacks, even the ones in my inventory have consolidated to my cursor.
This view shows the inventory open, I have two ammo stacks in my quick slots, and one in my inventory, and I am about to click to place the ammo from my equipped items
This view shows the inventory open, all my ammo stacks have consolidated to the cursor
