Given the dark atmosphere within the game I would really like to see plans to have many different industrial byproducts/waste that create unique problems, like turning water sources toxic, making deadly smog, etc that really give you the feeling you are destroying the planet. Just a non fleshed out idea i had, but I think the current pollution system does not do this wonderful game justice. Also the vanilla game (at least in my experience) could use some additional threats other than aliens.

I made a thread suggesting a similar thing a little while ago. I really wish pollution did more than just anger local aliens.

Did you saw, that the trees are already get dark and lost the leaves in high pollution? I think that path will be continued.
