Oh, you are on Mac.

In that case open ~/Library/Application Support/factorio/config/config.ini and change line max-texture-size=0 to max-texture-size=4096

If it is empty (or has only 1 or 2 lines) but it is there, paste the following into / replace it with:

Code: Select all

[path]
read-data=__PATH__system-read-data__
write-data=__PATH__system-write-data__
[general]
locale=de
[graphics]
graphics-quality=normal
video-memory-usage=high
max-texture-size=4096
Also post the contents of the log file in ~/Library/Application Support/factorio/factorio-current.log

The file should be in ~/Library/Application Support/factorio/config and named config.ini
But from the screenshots you provided I think you are in the wrong folder? (I have almost no experience with macs.)

Do you use the steam version or the website version (.dmg) ?

----

Here is config.ini, you can use.
config.ini

If that doesn't work post here log ( ~/Library/Application Support/factorio/factorio-current.log ).
