Adding mod to very lategame map?

I didnt know where to write it, so sorry for maybe being out of topic.
Can someone please hrlp me suggesting some good mods which can be placed to already big vanilla map.
I want to play with good moods but I dont want to start over.

Almost every mod that isn't in "complete overhauls" section. You can turn them on and off at your leisure, the state of the mod is lost only. (And the entities added by it.)
As for specific names: plane mod, modular armor mod, ammobox might be rather fitting to the late game.

If you're feeling lucky, you might try even those, apart from potentially unhandled case of recipes altered while being crafted the worst what could happen is factory stalling. (Backup first.)
