I have quite a few requester chests that aren't getting their requests filled even though I've got lots of leveled up L Robots in the yellow area. I still have to walk around and fill some machines by hand. Is there a cure?

You would need to post more information - there are at least few reasons this might happen.
Please check if all roboports are connected - if they aren't bots won't carry stuff between those areas.

are the resources to be brought put in a provider chest?

are both provider and requester in the same logistics net?

There are dotted yellow lines between the roboports. They have provider chests but the provider is not always in the same zone as the requester.

I dont have a clue what is the issue, the best way for me to assist you in this issue is by posting the savegame. That way we can look around and perhaps spot the cause.

Hmm if all the ports are connected and both the requesters and pro iders are in the orange area then I'm not entirely sure what the issue could be. Perhaps you don't have won the of the requested materials so there just simply isn't enough to go around to all the chests?
Pictures or the save file would help a lot.

I would suggest using the Advanced Logistics System mod by anoutsider to get full control over the items in your network to monitor if you have enough items to provide with.
