[0.12.27] Crash when radar completes cycle
Posted: Tue Mar 22, 2016 11:25 pm
Just noticed: viewtopic.php?t=21942
Will try again with 0.12.28, will update post with results....
===============================================================
This is a bit of an odd one. When the radar completes a cycle (the scan) and if the windows machine is locked, the game crashes.
-- How I noticed
I leave the game running a lot and I walk away from my PC, I always lock the PC
Come back and the game runs fine
About 5hrs into the game I build and place in the world the radar
Leave and lock the PC
Come back, game crashed
-- Tested the following...
No longer happens when I remove the radar.
No longer happens when I cut power to the radar.
Radar completes cycle just fine; during normal gameplay, when the game is in the background or foreground, fullscreen or not.
Lock the PC right after the cycle starts over and time it, leaving the PC locked and with sound I can hear the popup of the game crashed message. The time it takes to crash is accurate with the time it would take to of completed that cycle.
Locked right before it is about to complete crashes.
