Hey ho,
I have a problem, i have a smart inserter and a smart chest, both connectet with red wire on the same electric pole.
My little plan was that the inserter only works when in the box are MORE wood than 800. But it don“t work.

Should the sign not be raw wood < 800?

Ok so it also don't work with the sign in the right direction?

I have currently no experience with this smart circuits so my knowledge ends here.
Hope anybody else have an idea about your situation.

Greetings steinio

It doesn't look like you connected the red wire to the box.

click on the pole. the infopanel to the right should show the signals that are going through it. if that doesnt have the signal with the wood count then you didnt connect the chest.

Tip for circuit network: you can connect entities directly to each other, the wire doesn't have to go through a power pole ;)

So I'm not exactly sure what the problem with your setup is (most likely a sign mixed up, a wire not attached, or multiple wires all connected to the same pole causing them to sum together) however you might find https://youtu.be/hit79v62w1U helpful--it is a tutorial video about circuit networks and addresses your exact setup in the first couple of minutes.
