All my work was auto saved over?

So I've had this game for about 2-3 weeks now and it is literally all I want to do. It's so addicting and fun and I love it so much. My main world that It said I have put in about 27 hours of work into it was gone when I looked to go into it. I realized that when I had started a new world, (I started it because I wanted to remember the beginning of the game) it had auto saved over my good factory that I wanted to keep. I was wondering if there's any way I can get this back? I was kinda devastated. Thanks!

The auto-saves are just that - automatic - they cyclic and overwrite the oldest in the list of autosaves when the game autosaves.
You should be making manual saves (press escape, click save, type a name, click save). Those are only overwritten when you save over them and will persist forever (or until you delete them)

If you use Windows 10 maybe you can right click an autosave file and choose show previous versions.
