Hello!
I usually play Factorio on my PC, but some days ago I installed it on school PC. Adn I noticed something strange - on school computer (which theoritically is much weaker than mine) game runs smooth even on 128x speed (I'm using edited SpeedButtons).

Specs:
My PC: Win10 Home x64, Pentium i6700 2 cores 3.20 GHz (+overclock 10%), Palit GeForce 750 Ti, 4 GB RAM, newest Steam Factorio x64
School PC: Win7 Pro x64, i3-2120 3.30 Ghz 4 cores, Geforce 730, 4 GB RAM, Factorio 12.26 x64 (probably, it isn't old but it isn't the newest)
Both versions have the same graphic settings and mods.

So what causes low FPS on my PC? I suppose old processor, but does really 100 MHz matter? Or maybe it's system? Please help!

It's not _just_ 100MHz. Your CPU is a few generations behind the one in your school's computer.

The i3 is about 2 times stronger. As Factorio performance is tied mostly to CPU performance (GPU isn't a big factor, as long as you have enough VRAM), that explains the discrepancy.

Edit: Also, please change your signature to something smaller. See item 3 in the forum rules.

It's because of your signature : Factorio detects it's too big, and slows down on your computer .

More seriously ... what sillyfly just pointed is very likely to be the explaination.

The problem was in game, not in my computer. Let's explain:
12.a - version on school PC
12.b - version I playes while I posted this (broken)
12.c - the new version released today (works good)

So there was something with game code what slowed me on high speeds
