As far as I'm aware I'm on the latest update, I'm on steam. My specs are
Processor: 3.06 GHz Intel Core i3
Memory: 4GB 1333 MHz DDR3
Graphics: ATI Radeon HD 4670 256 MB
Software: OS X 10.9.4 (13E28)

This is your main problem.

What are the minimal PC requirements?
1GB RAM, 512MB dedicated video memory, 1280x720 screen resolution.

Dammit!! So now I can't play the game?

You can try to lower all graphic options to strict minimum in the config.ini file.
Honestly, I don't think it will be enough, but if you don't, you'll never know .

viewtopic.php?f=49&t=4400 (search for "Graphics"). There are a few links you may want to explore.

On Mac it should be at ~/Library/Application Support/factorio/config/config.ini

Okay, I found it. I don't know how to lower the graphic options to strict minimum's though.

As I suggested in my previous post :

viewtopic.php?f=49&t=4400 (search for "Graphics")

There are 2 links provided, click on them, and you should find what you need.

Anyway, as this is not a bug, as the graphics card doesn't meet the minimum, I'm moving it to not a bug. You might make it work with minimum settings, but it is not officially supported.
