i got my steam key and downloaded the game, no problems
but when i try and start the game it gets to about 2% and i get a note about bobenimies i looked through about this problem and the only thing i could find was to update to the newest version, im running the current version with steam
i noticed i can update to beta versions but they require a key.

Any help would be appreciated

It seems you have some incompatible mods in your application directory (C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\Factorio). Delete the mod folder and it should start just fine.

on a side note, why is the "mods" folder and contents part of the original install if its not compatible.
just seems silly thats all.
