Where am I being Attacked

I know there are alerts, and they are shown on the map as well as the minimap, but once your base grows and grows, your map doesn't fit on your screen. Besides that the alerts dont show up when you are completely zoomed out.
I was in a stream with a few others and we came up with two solutions.
Solution 1:
Make the alerts always visible, at least the ones for attack and turrets attacking.
Solution 2:
Make the alert popup in the bottom clickable, open the map and center on the spot where you are under attack.
The second solution might give some problems with multiple attack notifications.
I hope you can do something with this
