not enough of video memory

"Unable to create sprite (3840X2160) probably not enough of video memory."

I 'm running on native resolution(3840x2160).
980ti (6GB)
i7-3820 with 32GB of memory

my savegame is hitting 120MB

Anyone got a idea with the reason of the error?

Hmm ... that is very strange as you have very high end GPU, which should be able to handle it. I assume new game works, it only crashes when you try to load your big save. Do you explore to large distances from starting point? It would be possible all VRAM is consumed by map and nothing is left for some additional screen buffers.
Try rebooting computer, if that does not help try Solutions 1 and 2 from link DaveMcW posted.

Are you running the 32 or 64 bit version of factoro?

Also could you upload your save + mods so I can try it on my computer and see if it has the same issue?

sure, problem is that it's hard to reproduce, if i reload the save a few time eventualy it loads, and most of the times its loading just fine

Similar crash. Attached is log. First time it's happened to me. I've played many, many hours without issue.

Try turning the video memory setting down in the config file. Maybe "medium".
