Hi there,

i have a small question, so is it possible to hide the GUI of the Game itself, to take a clean Screenshot? So id didnt see the Inventory, Map and Weapons anymore?

It's 0.11, so will not run with 0.12, but the difference could not be big.

Unfortunately this does not capture the screen you see, but rather a zoomed view of your charackter.

The minimap autohide mod can hide almost everything (ctrl-t to toggle tech, ctrl-m to toggle minimap, ctrl-b to toggle all stuff at bottom of screen). The one thing that mod doesn't provide a way to hide is the buttons (bonuses button, trains button, etc.).

I would rather use a command instead, but thanks anyway.

There's also a vanilla shortcut to hide the GUI now. By default it is set to ctrl+shift+F4 (don't press alt, as this will close the game).
It was added in Factorio 2.0.

Posting this here, as this is one of the top Google results, and I was looking for the shortcut.

Alas, Ctrl+Shift+F4 also hides the montage that runs behind the main menu GUI -- I was hoping to leave it running for a while, akin to a screen saver.

Edit: There should be a hidden button to "jump into" a save game matching the montage being displayed... hell of an easter egg.
