Since the 0.8.2 update all of my electric poles break connection as soon as I stamp them down. I can't get any power to route.

This issue only seems to affect new saved games. Saved games from 0.8.1 still function properly.

I do not have any mods installed, so this is for 100% vanilla.

Also, I love this game more than I love my next 15 minutes of oxygen.

I opened the save, and when I mined and built the pole back, it connected as expected.
Aren't you using the "alternative build" key? (by default it is building with shift pressed)
When you build poles this way, they don't connect to neighbours. (This is the same key as for the copy build).
