Energy from space

Sorry for the modest description, but my English is not good enough. The google translator must help me.

When we shoot a rocket into space currently, we only get boring points.
How about if we could generate energy with every rocket launch?
My idea would be the following:
The Satellite could be renamed in "energy satellite" or "solar panel satellite". Each "energy satelitt" generated, for example, one megawatt of energy. The solar panels needed could be increased (recipe).

To get the energy on the planet, it would need only one energy receiver. A new building, such as space elevator but only with a cable for power. Or a wireless receiver if that is not too crazy.
The building may be large. From this building, the energy is distributed with electricity pylons.

The whole thing would be an endgame energy source. So you could get away from the the solar panels, which are disfiguring the whole planet and need lots of space.
