[0.12] [pending] Factorio Crash at 10% on Ubuntu 14.04

Hi. Whenever I try to play Factorio, it launches, says it's "Loading mods", goes to 2%, 5%, then 10%, and just stops. The window doesn't freeze, the game doesn't crash, it just stops. I am using Ubuntu 14.04 LTS on a laptop with 1.9GiB of RAM. Any suggestions as to how to fix this?

Update: After a little while, it gives me the following error message:
"Couldn't create atlas bitmap (61656048x1114248)."

Please post a
Log file.
Also tell us which graphics card you're using (especially the VRAM), or at least the laptop model.

It more likely looks like some random number, as you would need 255Tb of memory to store it

The obvious answer is he has 255Tb of swap space on his system.

It was early, I knew it was odd, but I was not ready to do math.
