is there a way to reset the game Control list back to it's default? or could you give me the list so I can fix my game? otherwise I will have to uninstall then reinstall

Simplest way is to delete the configuration file (config.ini). The game will re-create the default configuration file, but naturally you will lose any config changes you've made.
If you have made other configuration changes you don't wish to lose you can backup your config file before deleting it, then editing it with a simple text editor and replacing all parts except for the controls section.

Edit: Just noticed there seems to be a default_config.ini file, so maybe you can just copy the controls section from this into your config.ini file.
